Wilding conifers (self established conifer trees from wind-transported seed) are threatening NZ iconic landscapes and indigenous flora and fauna in the high country and other areas of New Zealand. This website has been established to provide citizen scientists (you!) with easy to use collection software for documenting locations where wildings are present. The collected information will be used by scientists, policy makers and interested parties to draw a much better picture of the severity and extent of wilding conifers in New Zealand. Thank you for helping us to better understand the threat and risk of invasive species like wilding conifers in New Zealand.
